Education
Osborn Sloan and Associates facilitate workshops,
lectures and in-service programs that are tailored to the needs of
universities, health-care agencies and service providers.
Our education programs build on established theoretical
frameworks and draw on our extensive clinical experience. Our focus
is to ensure students develop practical skills-based
competencies.
We regularly conduct education programs in the following
areas:
- Acquired brain injury
- Managing challenging behaviours
- Managing cognitive impairment
- Hearing and vision loss
- Establishing and managing an allied health practice
- Manual handling
- Communication skills
- Reintegration into social roles following brain injury
Workshops will provide opportunities for people working with
adults and young people with an acquired brain injury to develop
their skills and knowledge in developing and implementing positive
behaviour support programs. These workshops ae tailored to your
organisation and are run by Sue Sloan or Simone Riley,
Neuropsychologists.

At Osborn Sloan and Associates we are able to provide
clinical supervision and professional mentoring for Occupational
Therapy and Neuropsychology graduates.
